Visiting the Farm
Jersey Ridge Ranch the home of JRR Mini Moos (micro-mini highland cows), JRR Fancy Fainters (fainting goats) and JRR Stable Leadership, is located in Glencoe, Ontario just off highway #2 (Longwoods Road). Our 32 acre farm is situated about halfway between London and Chatham, about 35 minutes from each location.
We acquired our two micro-mini cows from RCM Ranch in Colorado in the fall of 2023. These two fluffy loving little cows have been a great addition to our farm. There are very few actual micro-mini cows in Canada, we are proud to be one of the first to have these loving, cuddly cows.
This spring, we will be opening our farm to visitors that wish to meet these two bundles of love and joy. In preparation, we will be planting sunflowers and preparing photo areas for our guests. All sessions are booked in advance, maximum group size is 6.
The most common question we get is, "are your cows for sale?" The answer is no, they are not for sale. We waited almost a year to get these special girls and we are keeping them :) However, when they are old enough, we will be getting in touch with RCM Ranch so that we can select the best bulls in their breeding program to breed these girls to. Eventually, we will have some bundles of fluffy joy to sell but not quite yet.
Safety First
Safety on the farm for our visitors and our animals comes first. When you arrive, you will be given some do's and don'ts on the farm that will keep everyone safe.
To prepare for your visit, make sure you are not bringing any food items to feed the animals. Also, no strollers or carriers are allowed on site. All children 2 and under need to be in the arms of a parent during the visit and children 3-6 need to be closely supervised, holding the hand of an adult at all times. There is NO SMOKING or VAPING allowed anywhere on the property.

The Do's on the farm:
-wear appropriate footwear (no open toed shoes), shoes should have backs
-wear appropriate clothing, you will leave with some farm dirt and animal slobbers
-appreciate that animals take time to become comfortable with new people, be patient and kind
The Don'ts on the farm:
-do not yell or run towards animals, be slow and gentle to earn their trust
-do not smoke or vape on farm property
